2 To make the United Kingdom a hostile environment for those involved in the trafficking of human beings and the exploitation of trafficked people, and to remove fear from and give reassurance to victims, by taking forward a victim centred human rights based approach. Priorities www.ukhtc.org

3 To prevent Human Trafficking, both external and internal, by building knowledge and understanding of the harm it causes and its casual effects, and utilising that knowledge and understanding, to direct and prioritise the UK law enforcement response. Priorities www.ukhtc.org

4 To improve the law enforcement response to Human Trafficking by raising awareness of the key issues, the development and delivery of relevant training and to deliver and co-ordinate that response among UK law enforcement and prosecution agencies. Priorities www.ukhtc.org

5 To develop and promote a victim centred human rights based approach to victims of trafficking, working together with other agencies, stakeholder organisations and NGOs. Priorities www.ukhtc.org
