Running the AMT office – finances and property Deciding on distribution of undesignated funds and Christmas gifts to AMT workers Providing specialised advice on taxation, health and travel insurance and the AMT retirement fund

facilitates… Annual Christmas Gift Offering – share the joy of Christmas with a special gift for AMT workers Personal Project & Encouragement Fund (PPEF) – assist AMT missionary personnel with specific projects Overseas Disaster Relief – eg tsunamis, earthquakes Managed Missionary Retirement Fund (MMRF) AMT’s Special Funds

facilitates… Pastoral care and counselling support Liaise with state MACs re prospective candidates Debrief on return to Australia (furlough, permanent) Recommend training and provide secondment options AMT exists to assist churches in sending out workers into the harvest field and also caring for them holistically.

Member care – determining needs and encouraging workers by mail, email and phone while on the field or back home, and by direct contact while on furlough or visitation Processing documents of candidates and workers Keeping track of workers’ movements and updating details Helping with pastoral care

educates… We believe that it is every Christian’s responsibility to be involved in the reaching of every ethnic group with the good news of the Gospel. Through publishing a regular magazine headlining the latest topics in the mission scene, AMT seeks to keep the churches educated about their role in the Great Commission.

educates… We believe that it is every Christian’s responsibility to be involved in the reaching of every ethnic group with the good news of the Gospel. Each year the magazine has a specific theme, e.g. this year the theme is ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Missions’; many articles are written by field missionaries, both former and current Keeping Track = movements of workers (short and long- term), commendations, workers on home assignment Frontlines = current missionary letters from the field

educates & motivates… We provide a three-pronged prayer network: the Daily Prayer Guide to help you pray daily for our workers; Frontlines is published in Serving Together to give regular ministry updates; and the Global Prayer Matters service to give you weekly up-to-the-minute prayer information, which is summarised in the Monthly Prayer Summary. AMT seeks to inspire individuals and churches to be serious in their mission involvement.
