Carers Forum The Carers Forum has strong links to the Carers Partnership Board, several members of the Board sit on the Forum Advisory Group. Health Roundtable We also have strong links to Health as the Chair of the Board (Louise Langham) is the Carers Representative on the Health Roundtable which is a Sub Group of the Clinical Commissioning Group (formerly PCT). Its members include patient representatives, Healthwatch and volunteers from local community and voluntary organisations. The Roundtable works alongside the CCG to ensure patients are able to influence CCG decisions. For example we have plans for the following: Identifying carers who are marginalised or isolated. Developing local carer champions. Working with Princes Royal Hospital to raise Carer and Dementia care awareness. Ensuring sustainable carer contribution on Partnership Board and working groups. Most importantly we value carers’ and former carers’ views in shaping services. What happens next
