Procedure for Delivering Newspapers to Guestrooms If you deliver complimentary newspapers to guestroom and suites, use this procedure. Where it reads “if applicable”, see your Hotel-specific Guest Services Guide: 1. Know the time to expect receipt of the newspapers and keep time available after that for delivery. 2. If applicable, place stickers on the newspaper showing them as compliments of the hotel. 3. If applicable, put the newspapers in newspaper bags. Continued →

If you must leave the front desk unattended, temporarily forward calls to the cordless telephone and take the telephone with you. 5. Take with you a list of room numbers receiving the newspapers. 6. Place the newspapers neatly and as described in you Hotel-specific Guest Service Guide. Be quiet so you do not disturb or frighten guests. End
