RELIGION Ancient Egyptian religion was Polytheistic and Zoomorphic They used to have goddess and gods who sometimes played different and conflicting roles. Famous goddess: Anuket, Bast and Isis Famous gods: Amonet, Anubis, Sobek, Imhotep,etc.

CULTURAL AREAS ARCHITECTURE Includes some of the most famous structures in the world, such as The Great Pyramids of Giza, Abu Simel and the temples at Thebes * Most buildings were built from mod bricks and wood. * Temples and tombs were constructed of stone to last forever.

Sculpture and Painting Sculpture: to represent their gods and pharaohs, called divine kings and queens. Males were darker than females Paintings: to make afterlife a pleasant place. Were found in tombs and survived due to climate

LITERATURE AND MUSIC LITERATURE: Include hymns to the gods, mythological, magical and mortuary texts, biographical and historical texts, etc. MUSIC: They used to play flutes and a type of harp called the sistrum (a sacred instrument)

Achievements in Science Developed a number system and could calculate volume and area. Principles of geometry Developed a 365 day calendar. Medical expertise when treating fractures and diseases.
