9. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s (NFWF) Recovered Oil Fund for Wildlife 2010 Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill NFWF’s Recovered Oil Fund for Wildlife was made possible with proceeds from BP’s share of net revenue from oil recovered from the Deepwater Horizon site.

11. Projects took place on important nesting beaches with a history of sea turtle disorientation events. Plan to add to existing stretches of dark beach to create a contiguous stretch of nesting habitat. STC darkened 24,000 linear feet of beach and restored over 4 miles of sea turtle nesting habitat.
