FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE- Writing enriched by words, images and figures of speech *Similes *Onomatopoeia *Hyperbole *Metaphors bring interest and connection for the reader.

Simile is a comparison between two unlike things using “like” or “as”.

ONOMATOPOEIA-a word that tries to duplicate a sound.
