Relevance – Custom wheelchair seats can be used to help prevent pressure ulcers in individuals with spinal cord injury.

Therapists adjusted woven seat and had subjects use wheelchair until straps stopped lengthening. Therapists then performed final fitting with wheelchair on a stand.

Pressure relief maneuvers could be performed. All therapists could customize wheelchair seat to clinically acceptable levels in 4 - 40 min for the 3 subjects.
