11. 11 Full Body Harness Inspection -- Performed prior every use -- Supervisor’s are required to document inspection every 6 months -- Unsafe equipment must be reported to your supervisor and replaced a.s.a.p -- Destroy equipment and replace for a one for one swap

12. 12 Full Body Harness Inspection - I.D label & plastic keepers - Buckles & D-ring -- Inspect metal for worn parts, functionality of hardware, cracks, corrosion, burrs, sharp edges and security of attachments.

13. 13 Full Body Harness Inspection (webbing) - Check for wear, cuts, frayed edges, frayed strap material, discoloration may be caused by exposure to heat or chemicals, burns, holes - Do not attempt to repair the harness or modify for temp fixes

14. 14 Full Body Harness Inspect Energy Absorber -- Verify absorber is still intact and has not been subjected to forces of a fall -- Inspect energy absorber for evidence of elongation or tears -- Inspect for excessive wear or deterioration (destroy and replace equipment)

15. 15 Full Body Harness What must you do if you detect a harness unserviceable? 1. Report the defected equipment to your supervisor. 2. Destroy the equipment so no one accidentally wears it. 3. Replace the equipment immediately
