Questions, questions... Literal questions - repeating directly, or in own words, what the text says. Deductive questions - drawing conclusions deduced from the information given in the text. Inferential questions - reading between the lines to go beyond the information in the text. Evaluative/response questions - making critical judgements relating to the text.

Evaluative questions: Do you think Grandpa did the right thing by climbing the mountain? Do you think the monsters did a good job of dealing with the Wriggly Squiggly?
