After exploring the different methods, make a final design that is creative, unusual, and unique.

Read the gold handout. Study the other powerpoint. Use it as an example for how to fill in this powerpoint. First find at least 20 different ideas for illustrating your SCHOOL RULE. Next, make three completely different prototypes.

Creative thinking is a process for practical, creative resolution of a problem. Unlike analytical (logical) thinking creative thinking is a process based around the “building up” of ideas. Creative thinking requires the ability to combine understanding, creativity and reasonableness.

DEFINE: Decide what problem you are trying to solve. Decide on who the audience is. Establish a glossary of terms. RESEARCH: Collect examples of other attempts do the same job. IDEATE: Generate as many ideas as possible. Do not judge or debate ideas. PROTOTYPE: Begin production of the project. Combine, expand, and refine ideas. Create multiple drafts. CHOOSE: Choose the most powerful ideas. Review the objective.
