5. History & Needs The College established in the year 1981 by Miryalaguda Education Society to cater to the Higher Education needs of the Students of Miryalaguda Town and surrounding region. There is no Government Degree College in the entire Assembly Constituency. Bachelors coursework in Arts and Commerce (B.A., B.Com.) is introduced in the year 1981. During the Academic Year 1989-1990 Sciences Program (B.Sc. Coursework) also introduced. At present the College is having 27 Class Rooms with One Toilet. Drinking Water facility is provided with a Borewell. Osmania University has granted permanent affiliation to the College. The University Grants Commission admitted the College under Sec. 12B and 2F of UGC Act Recently the University Grants Commission imposed the condition to get the College accreditation from NAAC to release the UGC grants. To get the said accreditation our College should fulfill certain listed requirements: Teachers, Pay, Infrastructure, Lab facilities, Equipment, College grounds

7. Fund Raising Activity Upon the request of Miryalaguda M.L.A Sri. Ranga Reddy garu www.nalgonda.org leading fund raising program. Previously we worked together on other programs in his constituency.www.nalgonda.org As part of the program we held the conference call on November 9 th, and most of the participants contributed towards this program On November 10 th www.nalgonda.org team held conference call with ATA president Sri Chandra Reddy garu and secretary Sri Malla Reddy garu to seek their help and ATA promised to match it’s contribution.www.nalgonda.org On November 12 th www.nalgonda.org organized meet the M.L.A program in Jersey city with Miryalaguda NRIs and raised funds towards the same causewww.nalgonda.org On November 13 th www.nalgonda.org team spoke to Sri Vijayanand collector of Nalgonda to grant matching funds towards the same program and his response is encouragingwww.nalgonda.org On invitation of Nalgonda NRIs www.nalgonda.org team toured with M.L.A to run fund raising programs in Texas and Louisiana states during November 18 th weekend and around 20Lakhs ($50K) were pledged.www.nalgonda.org As it’s a huge sum www.nalgonda.org team requests fellow members of the forum and other donors to contribute towards this programwww.nalgonda.org Donations made towards this program are tax deductible TDF and Spread India came forward to join hands with www.nalgonda.org in fund raising activitywww.nalgonda.org www.naglonda.org using TDF account to collect the funds and transfer it through the Nalgonda Collectorate in India; all donations will be issued with the receipts which can be used towards tax deductionswww.naglonda.org
