When you are putting a paper in MLA it needs to have the following – 1 inch margins – Page Numbers in the top right hand corner with you last name – An MLA header – Double spaced – Size 12 font times new roman There is a web link that will help more with this.

MLA Citation Lastly, you will need to have a works cited page Most of you will be using Newspapers, but let’s review the others. You will also get a sheet to help you. This will be a thing we keep in our binders after we clean them.

Citing a Book Author. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year. Type of Material. Example: – Hasselhoff, David. Don’t Hassel the Hoff: The Autobiography. New York: Thomas Dunne Books, 2007. Print.

Citing a Magazine Article Author. "Title of Article." Title of Magazine Date: Page(s). Type of Material. Example: – Adams, Grizzly. “Manliest Mustaches: General Ambrose Burnside.” American Breads 4 Nov. 2007: 4. Print.
