Rethinking life experience (engages mind/brain, emotion/cognition, individual/environment and contributes to our sense of self) Rethinking environments (embodying cultural ideals, values, affect, relationships, emotion, thinking dispositions (all positive or negative) Rethinking agency and individualization (learner responsibility, intrinsic motivation, individual neural activation paths…”the myth of averages”) Rethinking accountability (designing “age appropriate” curricula is not enough“…. “stop teaching- design environments”)
