Finance Report The 2010 budget allows growth of the Defence Fund to $575,000 by year-end TEAM also holds a number of other significant investments in reserve, including ethical funds and MTS shares

TEAM Office Report Complaints & Grievance Established three-person Grievance Committee to protect member confidentiality Complaints and grievance numbers are up Main themes: Respect in the workplace Excessive workload and hours of work Pay and benefit rights Job evaluation and reclassification

TEAM Office Report Complaints & Grievance Activity since our May 2009 General Meeting: Thirty-five new complaints; three progressed to grievance Eighteen complaints resolved Eight new grievances; two proceeding to arbitration Three grievances resolved One complaint being heard by the Canadian Human Rights Commission

Pension Lawsuit Report Timeline Jan 1997– New plan established In 1998 MTS began a 5¼ year contribution holiday, exhausting the initial 100% employee generated $49M surplus Nov 2008 – Thirteen-week trial concludes Jan 2010– MTS to pay $100M to plan members Apr 2010– MTS filed a Notice of Appeal Jun 2010– MTS Stay application in court Dec 2010– Appeal hearing (Dec 13 th to 15 th )
