John Lennon was born on October 9 th, 1940 in Liverpool, England. He co-founded the Beatles, one of the best bands of all time. He was abandoned by his father when he was a baby and his mother couldn’t handle being a parent. He was raised by his aunt and uncle. He was a decent student, but his super artistic ability led him through school. He started a band in high school called Quarry Men. A few years later when he was attending Liverpool Art College he joined a band called the Silver Beatles. The group split in 1971. He was shot by a fan on December 8 th, 1980 in New York, New York (Gale Research).the BeatlesLiverpool Art College back
