WHAT IS A DUAL DEGREE? Registered in a PhD at each university Supervisor at each university Spend time at each university (1 x year min) Submit a thesis to each university – –1 to UTS and 1 to SYSU Awarded with 2 PhDs

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FUNDING China Scholarship Council: –Living allowance –Return air fare –Health insurance UTS scholarship: –Tuition fees –Top up living allowance $5,000 AUD

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? 1.Your application will be assessed by the University 2.If accepted, you will receive a UTS offer letter for the program 3.Use the UTS offer letter to CSC to apply for the scholarship 4.Apply for your student visa 5.Start in July/August 2015
