Unfortunately, the owner does not have the budget this year for a full blown inkjet system. 80% of his current requirements are to simply addressing non-glossy postcards. He decides to make the investment in a 2” print system on the FIT-36.

His current system does not have enough space for a dryer. In the past, Mike would have had to purchase a new transport or spend a significant amount of money adding an extension. His company is limited in what jobs they can offer a bid because his entry level system only allows for 2” of print. Lucky for Mike, he has a FIT transport. In less than 1 hour he can extend his current 36” base to a 72” single belt base, re-attach the dryer extension. Now it is ready to be upgraded from 2” of print up to 16”.
