6. Answer: OSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. OSHA is responsible for providing information from the US government regarding regulations, enforcement and workers’ rights pertaining to safe working conditions. OSHA also provides training and various publications on topic.

8. Answer: PROTECT YOUR BACK! When lifting heavy objects: – Lift close to your body – Feet should be shoulder width apart – Bend your knees and keep your back straight. – Tighten your stomach muscles – Lift with your legs – If you’re straining, get help!

To prevent injury, compressed air: – Must be regulated to 30 PSI or less – Requires eye protection to be worn. – Must never be pointed at any part of the body. – Canned air must never be concentrated and inhaled.
