3. Introduction Audience: Beginners with little to no tie tying experience. Time of use: 2-3 minutes Materials: A Tie and a mirror (optional)

4. The Process 1. Start with the wide end of your tie on the right, extending about 1 foot below the narrow end on the left. The images are oriented as if you were staring at a mirror.

5. The Process 2. Cross the wide end of the tie over the narrow end.

6. The Process 3. Turn the wide end under the narrow end.

7. The Process 4. Bring the wide end back, in front of the narrow end. Be sure to keep your right index finger at the knot for the next 2 steps.

8. The Process 5. Now pull the wide end through the loop around your neck.

9. The Process 6. Bring the wide end down through the front loop.

10. The Process 7. Finally remove your finger and tighten the knot by holding the narrow end and sliding the knot up. Be careful while sliding the knot, you don’t want to choke yourself!

11. FAQ’s Q: My tie is too long/short! A: Try repeating step 1 with a longer/shorter length. If you are still having problems you may need a shorter/longer tie. Q: How do I take off my tie? A: Grab the narrow end of the tie and slide the knot down.
