[21] She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” [22] All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: [23] “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23)

God’s “nearness” to us causes us to experience & encounter His voice. (Acts 2:17a, Matthew 1:23)
4
1. You do not need great knowledge or maturity to hear God's voice (sons & daughters)
5
2. You do not need lots of life experience to hear God's voice (young men)

[24] But if an unbeliever or someone who does not understand comes in while everybody is prophesying, he will be convinced by all that he is a sinner and will be judged by all, [25] and the secrets of his heart will be laid bare. So he will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!” (1 Corinthians 14:24-25) [3] But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. (1 Corinthian 14:3)
