4. The King’s Brief 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

5. How will Jesus apply this prophecy? ‘good news to the poor’ ‘freedom for the prisoner’ Social or spiritual restoration? Matt 11:5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

How would God’s territory be recovered? Why would Jesus say ‘no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again’ ‘the kingdom of God is within you’ ‘my kingdom is not of this world’
