Programmes of Study: examples Student 1 Core: English Lit + English Lang + Maths + Triple Science E Bacc: History + French Extras: approx 2 extra subjects (incl an Arts subject) Student 2 Core: English Lit + English Lang + Maths + Double Science E Bacc: Geography + Spanish Extras: approx 2 extra subjects (incl an Arts subject) Students aspiring to a Russell Group University (including Oxford or Cambridge) may have a programme of study like Students 1 or 2

Programmes of study: examples (cont) Some students may benefit from having some extra English and Maths lessons in their time- table. This will help them to work towards securing a grade C or above in these crucial Core subjects. The following examples (students 3,4 and 5) would all have some extra English and Maths lessons on their time-table.

Key Stage 4 Choices at Dunraven Terms 3 and 4 (Spring): – Subject specific information from Directors of Learning (assemblies and lessons) – Careers Information – Information booklet to families, plus recommended programme of study – Parents’ Evening: March 18 th 2013 – Completion of Choices (subject selection) form

Key Stage 4 Choices at Dunraven Terms 5 and 6 (Summer): – Whole school timetable constructed – Receipt of confirmation letter regarding Key Stage 4 subject choices – Queries dealt with; solutions, where possible, found
