Why IBCC? IB is clearly academic in nature and can be very selective. 30-70% of students (16-19) opt for career related studies worldwide Students preparing for active employment need a good understanding of world issues and their responsibilities as global citizens. Thus, the International Baccalaureate Career- Related Certificate or the IBCC.

IBCC VISION By 2020, the IBCC will be acknowledged throughout the world as the leading international career-related qualification providing upper secondary school students with the academic, practical and social skills required by the 21 st century learner.

DP CLASSES IB DIPLOMA PROGRAM CLASSES STUDENTS WILL HAVE AT LEAST 2 CLASSES, UP TO 4 CLASSES

IBCC CORE APPROACHES TO LEARNING CLASS OR ATL COMMUNITY AND SERVICE- develop service learning project by addressing a need in the community and striving to solve it REFLECTIVE PROJECT- students identify, analyze, critically discuss and evaluate an ethical issue in their career related studies LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT- exposes students to language which will benefit them in their chosen career pathway

CAREER RELATED STUDIES COMPLETE CAREER CLUSTER- 4 COURSES IN GROUP WITH ONE LEVEL TWO COURSE HEALTH SCIENCES, BUSINESS AND BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATIONS CAN INCLUDE: CPR, FIRST AID, CNA, PHARMACY TECH, EVERFI, MICROSOFT OFFICE EXCEL, WORD POWERPOINT PUBLISHER
