If you use your address on the application, need to pass information on to applicants. During August, better if student changes to their own address to get information on Registration Details of how to access MyApps is given in the offer letter

3 ADMISSIONS AT BRUNEL (contd)
Standard offers for all courses Transparent entry criteria on course pages of the web Offers made to all those who meet or who are likely to meet entry criteria Invitation to visit Brunel once offer made (UG) or virtual Open Day available on web Loyalty rewarded for UG applicants No point in submitting an application if applicant is unlikely to meet entry criteria. International students can come to the campus when it suits them and we will try to arrange a campus tour.

4 CHANGES TO BRUNEL ADMISSIONS
One centralised office dealing with all applications regardless of fee status Same office deals with fee assessment Larger admissions teams dealing with specific subject areas – 4 teams Separate team dealing with course enquiries within Brunel Admissions Office move mid-March. Will take time to see the improvements, as training of all staff takes place.

5 ADVANTAGES OF CHANGES One contact point for agents
A single process used for all applications Equal service to all applicants Quicker turnaround at peak periods

6 HOW TO APPLY Undergraduate applications: via UCAS
Single application for up to 5 choices saves time Official documentation sent by both UCAS and Brunel; progress can be tracked online Postgraduate applications: online Faster turnaround time No errors made in transferring data Paper application form being phased out Can just apply to 1 university if they want Can’t apply directly to universities and use UCAS. Should be one or the other. We are looking at improving the application process for agents

Later applications accepted if course vacancies PG applications accepted from October Applications accepted up to July provided space available (or later if no visa required) Normal turnaround time for an offer 1-2 weeks on online applications CAS issued once all conditions of offer met October when online application system goes live with new start dates
