1. This is a High Dynamic Range photo. Three photos melded together so that you get the most detail from each separate exposure. Ordinarily the trees facing us would be black in darkness and the sun shining directly through the branches and into the camera lens would wipe out a good portion of the photo in over exposure.

7. We were having early morning coffee waiting for breakfast to be served at our B&B. As I took repeated photos by holding my compact camera near the floor, my actions finally got the better of a fellow watching me and he came over to ask what the heck I was taking a picture of! Just the world as I see it...

8. 3 in 1. Coffee and bank over a grocery store. What more could you want?

10. We saw lots of old Victorian yard accoutrements – this one was just a bit on the unusual side. And the fish was odd too.
