HONORS TESTING There’s no special testing for Honors placement. English Language Arts/Math tests taken at Middle School CST scores & teacher recommendations will be used to help determine honors placement

Service Learning Award This program acknowledges students who have made contributions to their community by sharing their time and talents and making a difference in the lives of others. Any student who performs 50 or more hours per year will receive a certificate of service in an awards ceremony at the end of the school year. Seniors who have performed 200 or more hours of service** over the course of his/her four years in high school (NOT including Senior Project fieldwork hours) will be eligible to wear a corded medal at graduation.

Getting ready for 9 th Grade! All incoming 9 th grade students will need to: 1.Pick up an information packet which will be available in the guidance office in late July. 2. Return all forms during program confirmation week (Thursday, August 16), at which time they will receive their schedule.

Mandatory Parent Partnership Meetings What: Parents & Students meet with a guidance counselor in a group setting to receive a Freshman Handbook and other essential information. Where: Santa Fe High School When: June 26 - 4:00pm & 6:00pm Why: The more information that we can provide to you, the better prepared you and your student will be in meeting the challenges of high school. You will receive a Teleparent phone message with the dates of the presentations. Attendance is mandatory in order for your student to receive his/her class schedule in August. & July 10 - 8:00am & 5:00pm
