Total Number of Students Enrolled: 11,620 In a recent statewide survey, CSUSM alumni brag more about their alma mater than their university peers. In fact, more than 95 percent of respondents believe their decision to come to CSUSM was the right one.

Our signature “learning in action” programs provide hands-on experience across all majors, such as: Video in the Community, Senior Experience, STEM Center and Frontiers in Science OUR CAMPUS FACILITIES CSUSM Has 149 teaching and research labs including biomechanics, behavioral neuroscience, Cosmochemistry, ethnobotany, and nursing simulation. Kellogg Library houses an industry-grade video and music recording studio. CSUSM offers fully furnished, modern apartments with private and shared room options. Amenities at complex include a multi-system game cave, recreation areas, a fitness center, and a resort style pool. A new student union featuring student lounges an expansive ballroom, an outdoor amphitheater, and office space for student organizations.

IMPACTED PROGRAMS Selection of major does not impact the admission decision Students are admitted in “pre-major” status Separate screening criteria within each major are used to allow students to declare these majors after students have been admitted.
