Academically Affiliated The Boise VA Medical Center has several active academic affiliations including agreements with the University of Washington School of Medicine, Boise State University, and the Idaho State University. Over 275 residents, interns, and students are trained at the Boise VA Medical Center each year.

Demographics Over 100,000 Veterans live in the Boise VAMC catchment area The Boise VAMC will provide care to over 24,000 unique (individual) patients in FY 2010.

Summary The Boise VA Medical Center is an acute care teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, secondary, and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, dentistry, geriatrics, and extended care.
