2. Why We Must Teach This There is error taught by many people on the subject of how one is saved. Because this subject is ignored by so many. Because it is a Bible subject. Souls are at stake The wrong teaching will send someone to Hell.

3. Why We Must Teach This Jesus taught that there would be those who teach the doctrines and precepts of men. Matthew 15:9 “But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men” Authority to determine the truth demands that in order to understand this subject we must learn all of what the word of God teaches on this subject.

4. What Is Baptism? Baptizo: to immerse, submerge for a religious purpose. Also means a cleansing, ablution, or washing—not of dirt, but of spiritual impurities, uncleanness, or sin. Acts 22:16. “and now why do you delay? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.”
