What we were
For you were like sheep going astray Peter 2:25
Through the law we become conscious of sin. Romans 3:20
So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith Galatians 3:24
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:4
We have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood Peter 1:2
No-one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him John 6:44

What Christ has done
The one mediator between God and men. 1 Timothy 2:5
Jesus is in the Father and the Father in him. John 10:38
God’s fullness dwells in him. Colossians 1:19
Jesus came to save sinners Timothy 1:15
The source of salvation to all who obey. Hebrews 5:9
He bore our sins. 1 Peter 2:24
We were bought for a price Corinthians 6:20, 7:23
…been brought near through the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:13
Jesus is the gate of the sheep pen – those entering are saved. John 10:9
In Adam all die, in Christ all are made alive Corinthians 15:22

He gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age. Galatians 1:4

What we must do
Makes us wise to salvation through faith. 2 Timothy 3:15
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith Ephesians 2:8
…Godly sorrow leads to repentance and salvation Corinthians 7:10
…we are circumcised, putting off the sinful nature Colossians 2:11
…all who call on his name. Romans 10:13

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

God made us alive with Christ. Ephesians 2:5,

Washed, sanctified, justified. 1 Corinthians 6:11
We see and enter the kingdom of God – born again. John 3:3
We have confidence to enter the most holy place. Hebrews 10:19
Christ appears for us in God’s presence. Hebrews 9:24
Have peace with God. Romans 5:1
The righteous shall live by faith Galatians 2:20,3:11
Streams of living water shall flow from within. John 7:38
Given eternal life. John 17:2
Rescued us from the dominion of darkness Colossians 1:13
Made new in the attitude of your minds. Ephesians 4:23

Our calling in Him
Become children of Abraham – of promise. Galatians 4:28
Adopted as sons Ephesians 1:5 …through faith in Christ. Galatians 3:26
Predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his son. Romans 8:29-30
To disciples is given authority to preach and heal. Matthew 10:1, Mark 3:15, Luke 9:1
So be rooted and built up in Christ. Colossians 2:6-7
Belong to Jesus to bear fruit to God. Romans 7:4
Set your hearts on things above. Colossians 3:1
Offer ourselves to God…as instruments of righteousness. Romans 6:13
Called to obedience through faith. Romans 1:5
God works in you to will and act according to his good purpose Philippians 2:13, Hebrews 13:21
We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Ephesians 2:10
Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and your neighbour as yourself – even your enemies. Matthew 22:37-39, Mark 12:30-31, Luke 6:27, Romans 12:20
Sharing your faith will give you a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Philemon 6
We are kept by Jesus. Jude 1
If we escape the corruption of the world…and are again entangled in it…we are worse off at the end than we were in the beginning. 2 Peter 2:20
It’s not the natural children who are God’s children. Romans 9:8

Do not conform…to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2
Made a kingdom of priests to serve God. Revelation 1:6, 5: We know God if we obey his commands. 1 John 2:3
Those that follow and serve are honoured by God. John 12:26

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15

Forget what is behind and strain towards what is ahead Press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenwards in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
