A health care professional who performs diagnostic imaging procedures including x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds. They properly position the patient so that a clear image can be made without overexposure to radiation. Process and evaluate the images Educate patients on procedures

By 2015, an Associate’s Degree is required Bachelor’s Degree Certificate programs for students who already have a degree (Technicians generally have an associate’s while technologists have a bachelor’s degree)
