1. FY06 Security Portal Updates - Data will only need to be submitted once for the school year and once for the summer. Grantees will still need to track information based on hours served during specific time frames. -In the school year submission, instead of one column labeled "hours of service," there will be several columns with different time frames based on MCAS retest dates. Sept-Nov. (prep. for Nov. retest) = FALL (‘F’) Dec.-Mar. (prep. for March retest) = WINTER (‘W’) April-June (prep. for summer/fall retest) = SPRING (‘S’) (For 9/10 th graders being prepared for 10 th grade MCAS, hours should be entered by session corresponding to the months in which student was served.)

2. FY06 Security Portal Updates - Juniors and seniors who have never taken the MCAS are eligible to participate in programs if they need MCAS support services. - Eligible 9/10th grade students will now also be pre-populated in the portal for district-run programs. - Non-district programs will still be required to enter participating students by the “Add Student” function.
