GET PUMPED! Did You Know? An unusable septic system or one in poor condition can lower your property value. Commercial additives are not a substitute for regular inspection and pumping. Improper maintenance is the most common cause of costly septic system repair or replacement. The cost of a system inspection can range from $50 - $150; pumping can cost between $100 - $400.
5
GET PUMPED! What NOT to Do: DON’T ignore your septic system! DON’T rely on commercial septic tank additives, cleaners, feeders, starters, etc. to save you money as a substitute for regular system maintenance.
6
GET PUMPED! What TO do: DO have your system inspected every three years, and pumped as recommended. DO think of your septic system as an investment. DO use a certified professional for all inspections and pumpings.
