March 2007 Legitimacy of Leadership Extend yourself (sacrifice and serve others) by: Treat others like important people Take a little more time to listen to others Be a bit more trusting and less controlling Lend a hand and help them become the best they are capable of Become genuinely interested in them Sacrifice your ego Sacrifice the desire for power Sacrifice your pride and self interest for greater good.
