My dog was (more fast/faster) than her dog. Joe was the (tallest/most tall) athlete on the team. That pizza is (more warm/warmer) than the other.

2 Today’s Learning Goal I will be able to identify the proper usage of COMPARATIVE and SUPERLATIVE adjectives and distinguish between both uses by taking notes on the grammar rules and word forms that apply. I will know I’ve met my goal when I can choose the correct adjective for a sentence and explain my reasoning in complete sentences.

We use the COMPARATIVE to compare TWO people, places or things. Long adjective: MORE + long adjective exciting  more exciting beautiful  more beautiful Irregular adjectives good  better bad  worse

6 COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES
We use the comparative to compare two people, places or things. We use the word “THAN” after the comparative form of the adjective. John is taller than Mary. A Ferrari is more expensive than a Fiat.
