2. From the Working Procedures If no candidate obtains 71% of the votes cast in the first ballot, a second ballot shall be held. In the case there are only two candidates in the second ballot, the candidate obtaining the higher number of votes is elected. In cases where there are more than two candidates in the second ballot and if none of them obtains 71% of the votes, a third ballot shall be held among the two candidates who have obtained the highest number of votes in the second ballot. The candidate obtaining the higher number of votes in the third or subsequent ballot is elected. TP Vice Chair elections 4 Candidates: – Farooq Bari, AT&T (ATIS) – Yong Chang, Samsung Electronics (TTA) – Joachim Koss, Cinterion Wireless Modules (ETSI) – Nick Yamasaki, KDDI Corporation (TTC) Proposed voting sequence – First round for one of the regions not represented by TP Chair (To be decided when the TP chair results are announced). – Second round for the region not represented by TP Chair or the Vice Chair elected in the first round. – Third round for all remaining candidates. © 2012 oneM2M Partners oneM2M-TP-2102-0075R02 5
