3. Step 1  Gather all of your notes on the war poetry that you have studied.

4. Step 2  Choose the two poems that you feel convey the strongest messages relating to war.

5. Step 3  Using a mind-map or spidergram, note how the poems convey their messages.  Note any similarities or differences.

6. Step 4  Use your diagram to make a list of points that explain how effectively the poems convey their messages.
