Fully automated, ASCS is a precision optical instrument that measures openings and wire diameters. Each sieve is scanned for irregularities with state-of-the-art image analysis software, and calibration traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Operation is simple—just place a sieve on the test stand, and a software wizard guides you through the measurement process!

Our automatic imaging software package measures all visible openings and wire diameters and documents compliance with ASTM E11 standard. The number of field captures for each sieve is user- selectable and total number of diagonal openings for all images is displayed. This data is automatically exported to an Excel spreadsheet with full statistical analysis.
