Camel n Has long legs to keep body away from hot sand n Can store fat in hump. n Can go for long periods without water.

Camel n Can close nostrils to keep out sand. n Has long eyelashes to keep out sand. n Many blood vessels just under the skin to cool the blood.

Polar Bear n Has white fur for camouflage. n Each hair is hollow for extra insulation. n Has sharp teeth and claws to catch and eat prey. n Has ridged foot pads to prevent slipping.

Penguin n Has thick layer of fat to keep warm. n Produces oil to keep feathers waterproof. n Stream lined body for swimming.

Golden Eagle n Large wing span for gliding. n Sharp talons for catching and holding prey. n Hooked beak for tearing meat. n Large eyes for spotting prey from great distances.

Shark n Stream lined body for swimming. n Fins to propel through the water. n Sharp teeth. n Gills to breath under water.
