2. We looked at cold colours and made an icy blue pattern and we used food colouring to paint over masking tape to make a cold, tree picture. It was like magic when we took the tape off.

10. We linked senses to the winter theme, smells and touch. We rubbed cinnamon sticks and nutmeg on sandpaper to create a winter, warm smell and cut it into the shape of a gingerbread man.

14. We also made a winter scene using old cards and linked the style to L.S. Lowry’s paintings
