3/ Present perfect ► used to expresses something which has been done in the past but is now completed ► it is called a present tense because it is saying that now, in the present, something is complete StatementNegativeQuestions Short answer I have seen it. Usage: position in the sentence Adverbs of frequency 1/ before the main verb She never helps me. He hardly ever comes on time. 2/ After the verb be!!! They are always late! I am normally up at 7 o’clock. 3/ After the first auxiliary They have never been to London. He has always been thinking of you.

Adverb phrases Usual position is at the beginning of the sentence or at the end: 1.I go running from time to time. They go on holiday twice a year. 2. From time to time we go to the restaurant.
