3. Chapter 1 A long, long time ago there lived an enchanting king called king Midas who loved having huge feasts and banquets. When there is a visitor like a god or goddess, king Midas would show people round his huge, lovely palace which had lots of jewels on the outside. King Midas was always admiring his massive garden with huge red roses and lovely smelling different plants and flowers.

5. Chapter 2 Suddenly the powerful Zeus appeared and offered king Midas any wish he wanted so he wished that everything he touched turned to bright, precious, pure emerald green. On that day king Midas was a very happy man by having the emerald green touch but what he did was touching lots and lots of things he saw like statues, flowers and plants. King Midas was a very proud man by being rich and having the emerald green touch.

6. Chapter 3 Hours later he got really upset about having the shiny emerald green touch but then King Midas asked nicely to a kind visitor called Hermes if he could help but suddenly he tripped over and touched Hermes and then King Midas was really upset. Then later Zeus came back and said “what happened “ suddenly King Midas felt really guilty about turning Hermes into emerald green but he didn’t want to be mean so he confessed! So Zeus (the king of all gods) accepted the apology.

7. Chapter 4 Finally he got so upset about the shiny emerald green touch that that turns everything into pure emerald green that King Midas went for a long, long swim in a huge river next to the massive palace full of diamond jewels. A while later King Midas called Zeus and asked nicely if he could turn Hermes back to normal and put all the emerald into the huge river. Zeus said “yes!” the end the end
