13 TSP 081-T-1059-13 ACTIONS TO MANAGE COSR - 1 If: Soldier’s behavior endangers the mission himself, or others, take appropriate measures to control him. Soldier is upset, let him talk about what is upsetting him, listen, and then try to reassure him.

14 TSP 081-T-1059-14 If: Soldier’s reliability becomes questionable— Unload the weapon. Remove the weapon only if endanger mission, himself, or others. Restrain only when safety is a concern/during transport. Reassure unit members: Probably a normal COSR reaction Will improve quickly ACTIONS TO MANAGE COSR - 2

15 TSP 081-T-1059-15 If: COSR signs continue— Get the Soldier to a safer place. Do not leave the Soldier alone. Notify the senior NCO or officer. Have the Soldier examined by medical personnel. ACTIONS TO MANAGE COSR - 3
