6 One class = one credit 5 credits = Sophomore 10 credits = Junior 16 credits = Senior 22 credits and 8 semesters to graduate Freshmen can earn 7 credits Sophomores – Seniors earn 8 credits each year

7 Freshmen Opportunities Centered Upon Success Dual Credit - college credit and high school credit Advanced Placement Courses – the “true” college experience for college credit Barren County Area Vocational Center - courses transfer to Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) Leadership opportunities in clubs and organizations Career Completors – career ready skills and training KEES – Scholarship money, better grades = more money ACT Readiness – more rigorous classes = better scores better scores = more scholarship money
