2. Amending the End Date Select the Plan you want to amend and select the Amend button. A warning appears asking the user to verify that they want to amend the document. Click OK or Cancel.

3. Select the Amend Editor

4. Amendment Reason Be specific as to why you are changing the end date of the student’s IEP. “Student no longer qualifies for services”, “Parent has Revoked Services”, etc. Select Save

5. Amendment Options Change the End Date to the Date the ARC determined the student was no longer eligible for whatever reason. Don't forget to select Save. You are not finished yet…

6. Review Amendments Select Review Amendments Amendment Start Date should be the first day the student does not receive services.

7. Complete Amendment If you do not select Complete Amendment, the IEP will not lock. You must select Complete Amendment to finish the IEP.

8. The Amended IEP The Amended 1 IEP is the “New” IEP. It does start and end on the same day because the document is now expired.
