Protecting the Safety and Security of the Student Protecting the Safety and Security of the Student Safety and Security Features Built into the Avaya system Malicious Call Trace: Helpful for residential campuses and schools in reducing prank calls and to help catch perpetrators Crisis Alert: for automatic notification to onsite/offsite faculty, staff and students (to consoles, stations and/or digital pager) E911 calling features: automatic recording, bridging to console, pager alert to on/off campus or school emergency personnel, calling party location Meet-me-Conferencing: so that emergency personnel or others can convene quickly and effectively for campus or school emergencies Built-in Paging: features to facilitate group notification to administrators and key personal on campus and in schools Whisper Page- campus police can coach a student receiving a malicious call without the calling party knowing Group Listening - allows emergency intervention through the speakerphone without activating the station’s transmitter. Group Paging-allows the system administrator to make announcements through the speakerphones of designated devices. Auxiliary port interfaces: Helpful in linking security systems in a school or campus residential hall to the entrance doors for locking and unlocking.
