2 What are the side effects of taking Narcotics? It can cause drowsiness, lack of concentration, apathy, loss of physical activity, pupil constriction, blood dialation (flushed face and neck), constipation, nausea, vomiting, and shallow breathing. When the dose increases, the sideffects become even more pronounced. How long does it take until the symptoms from withdrawl of narcotics are presented? The start 8 hours after last dose, and won't stop until at least 30 days after. What symptoms are presented after withdrawl? People who withdrawl from narcotics experence drug craving, irritability/anxiety, a increase in respitory rate,sweating, watery eyes (tearing/crying), yawning, runny nose, goosebumps, restlessness, dilated pupils, and loss of appetite (anorexia). Where can you find it? It's native habitat is in the Mediterranean riegon, and since then has spread around the globe. How is it created? When the seed seeps a milky fluid inbetween the cracks of the seed, people from as early as 5000 B.C. have scraped it, then air-dried it toproduce what is now known as Opium. Today (Modern Times), we dry the plant and use machines to extract the fluid. The extract can be liquid, solid, or in powder form, although it mostly comes out as a powder. More than 500 tons is shipped into the US legaly for Medical use.

What is narcotics? what are some examples of narcotics? what they do to you? how can narcotics affect the body? -symptoms of narcotics are insomnia, tremors, nausea, chills, muscular pains and uncontrollable kicking narcotics are called opiates. narcotics are used for pain but some poeple use them for fun. Some examples of narcotics are opium, morphine, and methadone. Heroin is the most used. Some common effects are feeling happy in any situation, drowsiness, dizziness, drawn together pupils, not feeling hungry, and throwing up. Some narcotics make your blood pressure go up, make your heart beat real fast, and cause seizures. If you use to many you might not be able to use the restroom and you will have bad vision. If you try to stop using narcotics, you will have watery eyes, runny nose, yawning, cramps, sickness, shaking, panics, chills, and sweating. Narcotics affect the body in different ways, depending on the particular drug and how it is taken. Some common effects include constricted pupils, dizziness, drowsiness, and loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. Codeine elevates the blood pressure, increases the heart rate and causes tremors and seizures.

Heroin; morphine; opium; codeine; meperidine; thebaine; and cocaine. A-5. Therapeutically to treat pain, suppress cough, alleviate diarrhea, and induse anesthesia. For recreational use, it "relaxes" people and gives a sense of well-being.

As the drug wears off, the drug tends to magnify any depressive tendencies. Q: How does this drug affect people socially? A: Getting the drug becomes the person's focus in life, & many addicts don't enter recovery before suffering serious social issues such as homlessness & encounters with the law. Q: What does this drug to to your body? A:This drug can make you sleepy or unconcious. If you take a large dose of this drug you can end up in a coma, or even dead. Q: What types of cancer are strengthend with Narcotics? A:

6 History of Drug Being able to achieve pain relief through chewing or ingesting Opium poppy seeds has been known about for centuries and is documented in Roman and Egyptian writings. The actual extract of morphine from the opium poppy was first discovered in 1806. This innovation enabled a specific, measured dose of the narcotic to be swallowed as a liquid. It was not until the syringe and needle were invented in Edinburgh in 1853 that morphine could then be given as an injection.
