9 AASHTO RECOGNITION There was a basic core group that always supported the effort to get recognized by AASHTO.

Three key individuals of this core group played important parts: 1.Jeff Hisem – Ohio Estimators had the Rodney Dangerfield syndrome. 2.James Haefele – Wyoming 3.George Bradfield – Georgia

12 AASHTO RECOGNITION Today – Technical Committee on Cost Estimating under the Highway Subcommittee on Design (SCOD) of AASHTO’s Standing Committee on Highways (SCOH) i.e., We are the TCCE of the SCOD of the SCOH. And that’s a true story!
