Introduction They turn round and round and round and round. What are they? Wind turbines! They can convert wind into energy, they are in many places, and they only cost around $3.5 million dollars if they're 2MW!

Where are Wind Turbines? Many Places Have Wind Turbines ~ Wind turbines are used in places like in valleys, mountains, and out at sea. ~ Some people use wind turbines in wind farms. ~ A few places that use wind turbines are Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Maine, Germany and Holland. Abby and Lauren

How Do Wind Turbines Work? Wind Turbines Convert Wind Into Energy ~ The energy in the wind turns the blades of the wind turbine. ~ The blades are connected to the rotor which is connected to the main shaft, which spins and makes electricity. ~ Wind turbine convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power. Morgan

How Can I Get A Wind Turbine? A Wind Turbine Would Be Beneficial For Us. ~ President Obama is giving 30% tax credit for wind turbines. ~Using a wind turbine saves around $28.5 million a year. ~ One 2MW wind turbine costs about $3.5 million dollars a year. Evan and J.T.

Conclusion This proves that wind turbines convert wind into energy, are in many different places, and can save you lots of money!
